For the first time, our church participated in this year's Celebrate Wallingford, the festival which takes place in the center of town, right outside our front door. With the support of our church members, it was a great success.
The Diaconate's own Chef Herb prepared delicious food for this event--kielbasa and sauerkraut, sausage, peppers and onions, and potato salad.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this important outreach to the Wallingford community a great success! Thanks to those who worked at the food booth and /or the separate display of our many missions and church activities. We sold a lot of food and also let the community know more about us as a faith family.
Plus we had fun together! Thanks for sharing your light and spirit!
