When an opportunity arose over ten years ago to help a village in Africa, a commitment to the Bawa Health Initiative was born.
With the help of our congregation, we have been able to provide mosquito nets and water filters to the Bawa Village in Cameroon.
Currently, we are in the process of building a primary care health center to serve Bawa and surrounding communities, and our financial support pays the salary of the person who oversees the clinic property.
The members have built wonderful friendships with the people of Bawa, and some of our staff has travelled there to assist the village.
