350th Anniversary Star Ball

On Saturday, January 10, 2026, the 350th Star Ball concluded a wonderful year of celebrations. It was a truly festive and joy-filled evening, with delicious food, great music, lively dancing and a glorious spirit.

The Star Ball was held at the Elks Club in Wallingford on a very rainy night.  But inside was full of light and and smiles, as people arrived in their finery.  It was fun to have an occasion to get dressed up!

A string trio played as people gathered, got their beverages and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres.

Some of the younger attendees brought their own entertainment.

Our new Senior Minister, Pastor Jeff, joined us together for a moment of prayer, thanksgiving and remembrance before the delicious buffet dinner.

Following the string trio, we had a great DJ offering a variety of tunes during the meal; then the music really picked up for dancing.  And the dancing was wonderful!  The dance floor was crowded as many joined in, and smiles and laughter filled the space.  Everyone was having so much fun!

This very special celebration would not have been possible without the vision, imagination and hard work of members of the 350th Anniversary Committee and others who joined in to help.  We thank them, and all who participated in this very special conclusion to a very special 350th year.
