For 18 years, Diana Majchrzak was the welcoming face and voice of our congregation, and it is with a deep sense of thanksgiving for her grace-filled service that we were able to show our appreciation and celebrate her ministry among us with a reception at Coffee Hour following the 10:00 a.m. service.
It was a wonderful tribute to Diana, who, alongside dedicated volunteers, have maintained the "nuts and bolts" of our church's ministries.
Her gifts included a generous gift certificate to a fabulous art store, drawing pencils--as many of us know, Diana takes doodling to another level--and an Audubon bird book, recognizing another one of her passions.
Following the service, delicious cake and other goodies were served at a reception in Congregational Hall.
We wish Diana every happiness in retirement and all of God's blessings on the new journey that lies ahead.
